Ron’s Wildlife Services Ltd. was started in
December of 2003 when I retired after working in the airfreight business
for 39 plus years with Emery Air Freight/Emery Worldwide/Menlo
Forwarding.
The last 4 years while I was at Menlo I had worked
long and hard to develop the hunting trophy shipping business, which was
the most enjoyable part of my many duties.
Talking to Hunters, Taxidermists and Guide
Outfitters—what could be better than that? Being a hunter myself, it is
truly enjoyable to devote my time to something so
interesting.
Ron’s Wildlife Services Ltd. works with many
taxidermists in B.C. and I have also handled shipments for customers in
Alberta and Saskatchewan.

There is considerable paperwork involved in
handling trophies as you have different levels of Government involved in
almost every case, as export permits are required from Provincial
Governments and also C.I.T.E.S. can be issued by the Federal Government in
Canada.
The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is also
involved in shipments moving into the U.S.A. and of course they also have
their paperwork requirements, as does U.S. Agriculture. U.S. Food
and Drug also has requirements when shipping game meat comes into the
picture.
Ron’s Wildlife Services Ltd. goes through these
documents and makes sure that everything will meet the requirements to get
a shipment released and on the way to the hunter, or to his chosen
taxidermist.
It is my hope that this website will help you with
any of the document requirements involved in trophy
shipping.
There are a few basics that you as a shipper must
do in order to get all set up, things that I cannot do for you, once those
are done then I can make things happen from that point on and get the
trophies where you want them to go.
Any suggestions to make my website more valuable
to you, would be most appreciated and I look forward to posting some of
your pictures to show everyone the beautiful artistry work involved in
taxidermy.
